Prof. Dragos Gheorghiu from the National University of Arts in Bucharest and co-workers developed the Time Maps Concept. The vision is to follow a new paradigm for approaching the Past through a synthesis of science, art/technê, and education. TU Wien students follow a landscape and regional planning approach. Hereby they assess the future by knowing processes of the past.

TU Wien students follow a landscape and regional planning approach. Hereby they assess the future by knowing processes of the past. This approach and in general revitalizing of traditional knowledge can be important for regional and rural planning and provide important incentives for local tourism. So far groups of students from TU Wien visited the Danube Delta three times. The focus of activities lies on Sfistofca village and C.A.Rosetti municipality. We are happy to co-operate with Romanian colleagues and to contribute with new ideas for Sfistofca.
